AvMet Applications is always looking for experienced people in the Aviation Weather arena. This arena includes the following specialties: Weather forecasting, Airline operations, Air Traffic Controllers, and Pilots. In addition to our core competencies, AvMet also has supplemental specialties including: Statistical Analysis, System design and Analysis, Application Programming, and Web Development.

We are currently looking for applicants to fill the following positions:

Systems Analyst: Applicants with a background in Aviation (FAA controller, Commercial pilot, or policy writers) or in Weather (Weather forecaster or Weather analyst). Ability to work independently and as part of a team and is able to adjust to quickly evolving requirements and deliverables. Good written and oral skills. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be a US citizen.

Application Developer: C, C++ programmer with at least 3 years on the job experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and is able to adjust to quickly evolving requirements and deliverables. Good written and oral skills. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be a US citizen. Applicants with development experience in weather or aviation a plus.
